I am surprised that the most common complaint about DOMETIC REFRIGERATOR vent fans have not been solved by the Dometic company! My 2014 Tiffin Open Road rig has a brand new Dometic 4 door Refrigerator...

If fridge is in a slide out then fans are a must.
IF NOT in a slideout fans can help but problem is usually improper installation/clearances. Properly installed absorption fridges work great.......with the correct draft from lower vent up/across coil out top vent.
My Dometic is 7 yrs. old.....temp controls go from 1-5
In really hot weather we have to use #3 setting otherwise #2 works.
Below 0*F in freezer and food section maintains 38-40*F
Our fridge is always ON........so it doesn't go thru cycles of having to cool off and has ALWAYS been operated 'level' (except when in transit....still ON)
