Dyeing carpet?
Rather than replacing..have any of you ever tried to dye the fading carpet? Mine is in good condition except for the inevitable fading. Please share with me your pros and cons...Janalee

You need to know the material from which the carpet was made.
If it's a synthetic, odds are you can not dye it.
If it's a natural fiber, you may be able to use Rit®.
