I see this mod happening in my future. The one thing in our rig(other than the bathroom is real small)that is not looked forward too is lifting the bed. Our's isn't really all that bad, but looking down the road I can see that bed getting heavier and heavier each year. I yanked the cruddy factory mattress and installed a real nice mattress from a local vendor and it is considerably heavier than the original. We upgraded to stronger struts and I did some bracing around the strut mounts to avoid a mid lift explosion of 1x2 pine! But all along I've been thinking something "powered" would be the ticket. Great mod!
