- 6_2SuperdutyExplorerI also have a shower problem. Wife says its on the wrong side of the trailer.
- mobeewanExplorerIf the original housing is not reusable and you were unable to swap the new parts from the new housing to the old housing and you are unable to get a new housing the same size as the original you are going to have to make an adapter plate large enough to cover the old hole with a new hole cut to the size of the new housing.
Some possible choices of material would be stainless steel plate, aluminum plate. Another would be King Starboard.
King Starboard is a plastic material that comes in various sizes and thicknesses and can be purchased from places like West Marine or www.boatoutfitters.com. It is used for various boat repairs and I think it might also be used for building dashboards and consoles. - TNGW1500SEExplorerDo you use a shower? If not you could cap it off and cover the hole with a door like this one:

I wish it was on the door side too so we could use it with a hose to wash down the porch or the dogs paws. We've never used the outdoor shower on any RV we've ever had. I thought about changing it but it sounds like work.
