When I first read your "topic" I was thinking how small it might be...but not small at all......you have a huge closet and now a neat/clean bunk bed!
We only used it once before I put the bunks in so hadn't used the closet. One of the reasons I liked the floorplan was that the closet covered the whole back whole and there's also a lot of other drawers and storage so I could afford to lose the storage space.
My initial thought was to have the top bunk on hinges so that I could fold it back if I needed the closet space but it wouldn't have been as sturdy (my wife's biggest concern) and we don't really need the closet space anyway.
