Was wondering about a full size oven. WE are thinking about maybe full time RV and the wife bakes State Fair winning cakes and pies I would sure hate to give those up ")
An LP RV size oven is doable, but there are many stories about uneven cooking and overall poor performance. A full home size oven, never seen one in an RV.
I've only seen a full home size range in one park model. In an RV you'd need at least twice the space to put a home size oven in and would still need a cook top. The wife does a lot of baking and has no problem with the RV size. I added another rack and pizza stone to the oven for more even heating.
A convection oven may work better than the RV gas ovens. It would be a problem to have a regular oven unless you get a gas oven that runs off propane. My parents did have one in a travel trailer years ago, but I'm not sure how well it did or didn't work for them. I never heard any comments regarding the oven.
Unlike many here I would not own an RV of any kind without a full size oven. Just too many delicious meals that can only be made in the oven (we are currently home but I am doing Prime Rib, a two bone 5 pounder this afternoon and will be repeating this favorite in a couple of weeks up at Zion). I don't do the baking thing but my bride does and her banana nut cranberry muffins and brownies are not to be missed. A lot of rigs come with a combo Convection/Microwave which will work well too. :C
If you have the space to install an oven, and if you install a gas oven. I don't know of ANYWHERE where an RV can get 220 power (for an electric oven).
