Going off the grid this weekend. Running fridge off propane. Don't need much else. 12v for lights is fine. However - it may hit 93 a few days. So got me to thinking of generators. From reading I think...

You will need at least a 3000 watt, the least expensive (quite) inverter today is the Champion 3100I or it's replacement the 3400I. Harbor Freight has come out with a 2000I but you'll need two & a parallel kit to run the A/C. The HF has not been out long enough to tell how they will hold up. I have had good luck with their compressors etc.
