Fleeing hurricane Irma, while in Louisiana, I wound up with a blowout. I am very meticulous about my tires, so I can only assume I picked up a nail or something resulting in a loss of air pressure, and thus the blowout. I could try and blame it on their lousy roads... :)
Put the spare on and found a goodyear store somewhere along the way. I got 4 of the endurance tires, and after more than a thousand miles, I can say I am very happy with them. Load range E, which is way more that needed for my trailer, and 8 ply. I immediately noticed better handling, and they weren't as hot as the previous tires, even in 100 plus heat. (laser thermometer on sidewalls)
They were not cheap, and they really don't look like they have a lot of tread depth, but I am happy with them so far.
