"Half-open" position for exit window with hinged rod

Hi. Ours is the same way. No slider window above the bedroom dresser. It is either a fully open exit window or closed, with a screen. Has always been a little peeve of mine and have wanted to partially open it. Thanks Jerry, great idea. I am going to use yours. Much simpler. Thanks to both of you for posting.
