Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems the connections to the old thermostat (as labeled on the thermostat) are the "5 wire" labels, ignoring the wire for the high speed fan, so presumably it should work if you just connect the wires to the identically labelled terminals for the new thermostat according to it's five wire diagram?
That would mean thick red to Rh, thick blue to W, yellow to Y, black to G, thin red to Rc, and green to an external fan speed switch or permanently connected/disconnected to give the desired fan speed.
