Help with digital thermostat install

I am trying to help my father out by installing a digital thermostat into his Safari motorhome. I have successfully installed the Hunter in my own RV but can not get his wiring figured out. The first issue is that I was unable to find the Hunter thermostat available anywhere so I purchased the Supco 43054. It appears to be the same as the Hunter except for one additional wire hook up labeled "R" (separate from "Rh/B and Rc/O"). He has a brand new Suburban furnace and the factory dometic A/C unit. I'll see if I can get some pictures posted to see if someone can help me figure out which wires go where. Thanks in advance for any help someone can provide.

Here is a thread that helped me a great deal when I recently changed air conditioners and had to put in a new thermostat in my trailer. Note especially the post by Old-Biscuit about half way down the page.

Here is the new thermostat. The colors of his old thermostat wires don't match colors in all of the posts I've searched for months.
