"Fits almost perfectly" and "my Q is a tiny bit too long" may mean your Q's gas valve is pressing against the tote wall - not good. Since the Sterilite tote is a bit taller than needed but the walls flare outward I installed foam supports in the bottom of my bin, effectively raising the Q a couple of inches and thereby "buying" more bin length, so there's no pressure on the gas valve. :)
