First question, why stainless VS black iron or soft copper? Second, are you sure it's high pressure? Did you tap before or after regulator?
He is likely referring to corrugated stainless tubing used in homes, outdoor and even underground.
Interestingly enough, someone on the GD forum popped in today and claimed they did the same thing on their TT. Not a smart move IMO.
