Well, by stating I'll give you the win just means I stand corrected and will now refer to the type of connection more correctly. The manufacturer (Outdoors RV) installed the connection under at the factory and provided a hose to run appliances. There is no doubt in my mind that they're intention was that the unit was to stay in place with the cap on the outlet and the hose rolled up and stowed somewhere when not in use or traveling. I did state that I installed the 3/8" tubing to stay in place permanently. Also I stated that the ball valve woudl be off while traveling. I didn't state but should have that I will always run the line out of gas and there will be 0psig in the line while traveling or not in use. What I was attempting to state in my previous post is that the manufacturer of the connection would have assumed that all connections to the fitting, I.E. the hose or anything, like my stainless tubing not be connected while traveling. I'll take a shot and posting some pics. I saw somewhere on the one of the posts that photo bucket isn't used to post pics here. This is good news to me as photo bucket is maddening for me.
