This is more for storage when it is in the lot. With this set up I will be able to use the same locking pin as I use on my truck. Plus it looks kind of cool and keeps the hitch out of the way to protect shins. Besides, why do something simple when Rube Goldberg has such great ideas. I really didn't think welding on the tongue was detrimental since the hitch, battery tray and propane mounts are all welded there. I do appreciate your input.
