I want to build a cargo tray to go in the basement of my 5th wheel. I cannot afford the 500-600 dollars for a professionally built and installed one. There has to be an economical way to build one. My main objective is to get my tool box into an accessible position. I built slide out trays in the pantry's in my rv and they work good. Any logical and practical and cheap suggestions would be appreciated

I don't have pictures, but met a guy that made slide outs for his MH out of garage door tracks and rollers. Looked real good and worked.

Long heavy duty drawer slides...up to 60", and capacity up to 500 lb can be found with a Google search...make a shallow tray or use 3/4" plywood for a flat platform and attach to the floor of the basement.

For heavy duty slides, find an old popup camp trailer that someone is trashing out, get the slides from under the beds and build your own custom slide trays.
