Homemade Macerator Pump
In all honesty, this is not really a "homemade" macerator pump… it's just an assembly of existing parts.
Anywway, I have been looking for a pump for my TC and TT for some time and have seen mixed reviews about the Sanicon and Flojet units (plus they're fairly expensive). So I picked up a SeaFlo macerator pump on Ebay for $59 and bought a Camco clear sewer fitting for $9, and then made a PVC adaptor to fit them to one another. The whole assembly is simply press-fit together. I'm using a 3/4" commercial (garden type) hose from the pump to the sewer connection.
It's working great so far!
