With the newer environmental reg’s I’m seeing more & more small transfer pumps and siphons with a flow stop device on the end of the hose.
On a genny that’s not all enclosed it’s an easy mod to add a T into the fuel line and run a piece of clear fuel line upwards alongside the tank to a vent tip, the gas will find its own level and create a sight gauge. Maybe drill a small hole and find a place to glue a length of line up the side of the case.
