yes there is, personaly I am not a fan of what keystone has done with their inverter loop setup, but I guess it works for a lot fo people. the issue is you have to buy and inverter that has "pasthrough" capability. so if you go that way you cut the loop out then wite in the inverter using that loop you cut.
the way I like to install them (my unit was built before the "inverter loop") so I put a automatic change over switch before my panel like you would with a generator, but instead I feed it with my inverter. so when ever I turn my inverter on it feeds power to the whole rv. for this you need a inverter that has hardwire outputs. mine has two plugs and also the termals to run hardwired to the panels, or in my case the ATS.
yes some one is going to say your battery charger will try to battery power to charge the batteries, I moved the input power for the converter to the shore power side of the auto transfer switch, so the only way it gets power is when I plug in.
now if you haven't bought your inverter yetand you are thinking about going to LiFePO4 batteries you can kill a few birds with one stone. if you look at inverter chargers say somthing like THIS for example (this is the one I am looking at putting in my truck camper if the wife keeps pushing she wants 120V power when we are camping in it 🤣
what this does is
1, gets rid of the crappy wfco auto detect converter that you have in your unit and won't play nice with the LiFePO4 batteries because you have solar.
2, will suport your LiFePO4 batteries properly
3, gives you an inverter (that one comes in 3000watts also) that will power every outlet in the rv and your microwave and such if needed.
4, has a built in auto change over switch.
you can also go victron, but they are twice the price and you would need the cerbo and bluetooth or the cerbo and the cerbo screen to monitor so another 300 to 600 bucks, so will probably be 3 times the price by the time you are said and done. but it is good quality. and has the cabability to load share between the grid and batteries so lets say you were staying in a friends driveway and you wanted the run the ac but they only had 15 amp plug it would combine that with the battery power to make it possible. renogy has a inverter charger that can do that also.
I use all renogy in my stuff and thats why I mention them for examples, they have been doing good for me for over 7 years now.
