I have been using the 36 LED panels from China for over two years now... I ordered a couple of single boards at 4.99 EA first just to make sure they would work OK for me.
The size of the board may scare you as it is much smaller than the others you find on the markek. The boards did just fine for me and I have had only one board to lose three in a roll leds. If and when more fail I will just replace the whole boad. At 4.99 a board it really isnt a big deal.
I was quite happy with my Command Electronics boards but they all interferred mt HDTV, NOAH WX Radio and Ham Radio operations especially when I was camping in woods off the power grid. It turned out any of the other boards I tried that had built-in regulator chips on them also interferred with my electronics.
The China boards DO NOT use the regulator chips on their boards which works just fine in my application.
I have a nice supply of the china LED boards on hand to use at the inexpensive cost of the boards.
