Replacement Lights for TT

I have a 2016 Jayco TT in which several ceiling lights have completely or partially failed. I live a long way from any RV accessory stores, so looked for replacements on Amazon, etc. The lights in question are pretty standard looking.

Found some, but the reviews were definitely mixed, with a high percentage of both 5 star and 1 star reviews. I've bought things that had similar review issues, and have had mostly good results. The difference this time is that there's considerable work involved in removing/installing about ten lights only to find out that several of them fail soon after all the work has been done, and perhaps after the expiration of the return window.

Has anyone had good (or bad) luck finding decent TT replacement lights? Any recommendations ?

Thanks!

  • OP here. The size of the fixture could be slightly more or less than the 4 and 7/8" of the originals. The ones I found on Amazon and other RV accessory suppliers were 4.5 - 5+ inches and would be fine size-wise.

BTW, I'm knowledgeable about lumen and light 'temperature' (color) ratings.

  • Thanks for responding.

The 'card' with wires attached on back can be popped out of the plastic housing. I googled everything printed on the card and could not find any info on buying replacements. Replacing a fixture is easy, but there's ten bad ones, so it adds up.

The diameter of the housing is 4 and 7/8 inches, by the way.

  • are they replacable bulbs you have or do you have to change the whole fixture?  pictures help a lot also .
