Great thread, it's interesting to see the different LEDs and how they are used. Threads like this made me realize how easy it was and how inexpensive it could be to convert.
I ordered 10 of these
48 SMD panelsand 10 of these
9 SMD 921The panels are just as bright as the originals, the 9 SMDs are dimmer and more comfortable for siting around.
I still have to replace the porch light with
LED 120 SMDand have to look at the light under the steps to see what it needs.
Two bunk lights were not changed out due to the fact they are rarely used and then just long enough to find whatever we have stored in the bunk.
As far as heat goes, I turned on every light in the TT to do night shots. The LED fixtures were a little warm to the touch at the lens, The two bunk lights were HOT. Too hot to leave my hand on the lens for long and you know direct contact with the bulb would have been searing.
In any event I am extremely happy with the conversion, The fire ban meant that we were in the TT earlier than usual and being able to use the house lights made it more enjoyable.
