Hunter Thermostat--Thinking about this installing this mod

Question for those who have done this mod a few years ago. Have you discovered any downside effects from mod? I'm thinking, the a/c may cycle more often. Wear & tear on the a/c? Any regrets? What ...

No down sides. You will get much more consistent temps in your rig.
Do it right and add a high - low fan switch also.
Fun project and worthwhile.

Here is the one I put in the trailer we just sold. The red button is the hi/low control...but there are many options for this.
