We got our new portable ice maker yesterday, no more cool tea and beverages. That thing spits out the ice cubes at a good rate and only needs 115V and water. I know we will enjoy it during the summer...
Mine dumps a batch of ice every eight minutes. While not very hard ice and it will melt if left in the machine the melted water just goes back into the reservoir to be re frozen. We collect the ice and store it in the freezer where it gets good and hard and assures a large supply in case of company.At $2 a bag for ice It has paid for its self many times over.
