Install Water Tank Gauge

My camper has a white plastic fresh water holding tank under the dining seat. I never know how much water remains. Can I install a water tank gauge? What product do you recommend? Thank you
  • Thank you all for your suggestions. CloudDriver, great idea, I have my project for this weekend.
  • Our water tank is under the kitchen sink. The level gauge for this tank never worked properly, so I added some clear tubing connected to the pump suction for a visual level gauge. The valve on the end of the tubing keeps the pump from sucking air. All we have to do is open the valve to see the gallons of water remaining.

  • I followed that link -- the units are very nice but very expensive. I then went to their accessories page and found this:

    Non-invasive sensor

Apparently, they stick onto the outside of the plastic tank and measure fluid levels -- very cool! I am not sure how it works. These sensors hook up to the instrument panels.
