Installed Marinco "house" battery main switch

I finally got tired of disconnecting my battery every time I park the TT. Another member on the forum gave me this idea, so I take no credit.... I bought it off Ebay for $28 shipped, used about a foot of automotive battery cable (used from where I work), crimped some ends on

  • I also borrowed the CG's ladder and got up on my roof and installed a Camco roof vent. My bathroom vent cover already had holes and cracks in it, so I figured it was good reason to install a better roof vent. I don't know how it compares to Maxxair's and others, but I think it will do the job.
  • Nice work and good deal on the switch!
Needing to do this to our trailer since the battery is a bear to get out.
  • Same one I put on my 5er. Very nice not to have to disconnect batteries each time. Nice job.
  • The other two

Just had to buy some screws, nuts, and lock washers from Lowe's to mount the switch to my battery box. Did it while here camping at Fancy Gap KOA.....
