another thing to consider buying instead of a traditional washer and dryer, is a all in one unit. doesn't need a vent, just water supply and a drain.
barring that, is there a vent on the outside? if so remove the grill, drill the hole from the outside and then re attach the vent grill.
So if it doesn’t vent the moisture outside while it’s drying the clothes, where does the moisture go?
