Propane hose like Mr Buddy or have it made at reputable shop.
It appears that you will tee the line, go through a shut off valve, then straight to the heater. I would also use the quick connect fitting. Put a protective cap on both ends when not using to keep crud out. Yes, I know how much they cost. :)
It appears that the heater is low pressure so it will run off your rv propane system. If you install another regulator it wont work.
The green wire is probably a ground wire. Do not remove.

The worst thing that may happen is trying to run several appliances at one time. You may need to upgrade the regulator.
