Instant Hot Water in Bath

I added a valve and hose under the bath vanity to send water from the water heater back to the fresh water tank. My water heater is some distance from the bathroom, so running water till it gets hot is a waste of both water and space in the gray water tank. I will just open the valve for a short period of time so the hot water be available almost immediately for the sink and shower. I'm still winterized, so testing is not complete.

In addition to the instant hot water benefit, the valve can be left partially open in freezing weather so that the plumbing and fresh water tank will be heated. I'll probably add a restriction in the line, to throttle the flow at a reasonable level even with the valve fully open.

I kept the valve behind the vanity door to prevent accidental opening.
