Kitchen Faucet

I find it difficult to wash dishes and preserve water with the rv faucet that has a separate hot and cold knob. I got an inexpensive standard faucet with spray wand from the local big box store and hooked it up with no special tools.

Tools:
--------
adjustable wrench
drill
hole saw
plumbers tape

The plumbing fittings where the same so no modifications where necessary. I simply need to drill a hole for the side sprayer and hook everything back up.

The hardest part was getting my 200lbs 6'2" frame under the sink.

The side sprayer makes doing dishes a lot easier.

Good job OP, as you found out, there's nothing magical about RV fixtures except they tend to be very cheaply made. You went about it the right way.

I expected to find the hole spacing to be different or the water connection lines to be a different size. But you are right... Nothing magical or special about these fixtures.

Why does the knob style make it easier?

I prefer the single lever style instead of the independent hot/cold adjustments. I am able to locate the desired temperature more quickly.
  • I replaced both cheapo faucets during the first month I owned our then new TT.
Sure makes using the sink nicer.
