LED clock?

Am tired of having to reset the clock in the microwave all the time. Would like to get an inexpensive panel mount style of LED clock. All the ones on ebay or Amazon seem to be combo units with temp. and voltage and are 24 hours. I just want something simple, that is 12 hours, has reset buttons on the faceplate and that I can mount recessed in a wall or cabinet. The one in the pic is an example of what I'd like but is only available from down under.

When it comes to AC & DC LED voltmeters and ammeters, there's lots available. Not sure why a basic clock is so hard to find. Anyone know of a source in NA?

Inexpensive and has all the features you need... Battery powered... Also has built-in indoor temperature reading...

I use a similiar clock with the remote temperature sensor. Put the sensor in the frig if you want to monitor the temp, put it in the basement if you're worried about pipes freezing, or put it outside if you want to see how well the air conditioner is performing. A bit more useful for the information you might need.

I think I have to reset mine when I get outside a time zone... Very seldom go that far haha...

All of the clocks will have to be reset. They have no idea what time you are in unless you are into 24 hour clocks and that has its own problems as well when moving around the country...

Does this atomic clock know when you cross into a new time zone?

OP - I have been looking for a clock like you are looking for too, but for now we use the clock app on our smart phone.
  • It's likely that all of those devices you saw on Amazon use a common chip that provides a clock, DVM and temperature functions. Someone who makes something like this is going to use the commonly available chip they could not afford to have their own chip made.
