I also ordered a 5M extension cable. Maybe too much, huh? I'll stop by Walmart or Lowes and get some better tape, from what I've read. And I guess something to mount the extension with.
I'm going to try to install just under the awning, so I can use them with awning in or out. I intend to run the extension so the end is near the 120V outlet, so I don't have to mount the controller outside. Not sure which way I'm going yet (to the rear or to the front), but I'll have five days at the RV resort to figure it out before the 4th...now I REALLY wish we'd have gotten a site closer to the amphitheater where the band will be playing on the 4th...
