Linoleum sheet vs planks vs floating wood plank flooring?

I am asking this for my sister who is wanting to replace her kitchen/bath flooring in her class A. She has been told everything from the wood plank flooring buckling because of movement to the linoleum planking curling up because of cold to ...... She is unsure of what to use at this point. Can anyone share their experiences? Thank you!!
  • We used Armstrong sheet vinyl in our last motorhome (Bounder). We did not do the slide or around the driver/passenger seat area.
We removed the carpeting in the kitchen and bedroom.
We used quarter round around edges. Looked good.
  • I used Pergo wood plank in our previous mh
    Other people have used Alure
Prep and winter storage conditions are two big factors
Wood plank stays flat , unless you get water under it, the top is water resistant
  • Floating wood plank will buckle.

Linoleum if installed correctly and stapled down securely around the edges with quarter round or similar will endure the temp changes.
