What does the authority here on solar have as an opinion and any usage reports, installation differences from AGM or where to buy etc... Finding good reads...

When i bought my AGMs , i took a day trip to Oceanside,Ca
Went down, inspected and tested the batteries, bought five of them, loaded up and drove back to L.A.
A Chevy Volt, battery for $300, is definitely interesting
I think they use a different cell construction than Tesla
I think they use large 'pouch' cells to build the battery
I've been watching a lot of electric vehicle vids, and diy power storage vids
