Motion detector type stick-anywhere LED lights you see being advertised now on TV sure would fit the inside cabinet scene... They all run on four AA batteries it appears. LEDs should run along time on low power source.
I have a couple of LED lights here in my Radio Room that come in handy when the power goes out.
The wife loves all of the battery operated different candle looking LED flicker lights. She has a whole bunch of those being used for night lights etc when we are camping... Most of these have the night sensor on them.
