Looking for hoist ideas

Question

I have a fairly large bike rack on the back of the Mother Ship and its a bit high off the ground. Compounding that is a low wall behind the M.S. making lifing of the bikes somewhat of a struggle.

So I'm wondering if anyone has installed a hoist on the rear of their vehicle for lifting.

I installed a boat ring anchor and use a a block and tackle to raise and lower the spare tire, maybe you can use something like this, my system us
es "S" hooks to attach to the boat ring and the tire.

I was thinking something along the lines of a pickup truck bed jib crane.  'course you'd have to figure out the best way to mount it.....

Yes, there is a ladder.  I'm resisting the idea of drilling any holes in the roof.Navegator, how is your system mounted?
