Lowering a tv

I have 2008 Winnebago Voyage, class A. The tv is over the cab. I find its height annoying to view. Any ideas on how to lower it when needed. I have investigated various lift companies, but their lifts that lower are too big. I have 18 inches with which to work.

  • Not sure exactly what you have without a photo, but this source has a lot of different mounts: videosecu.com

There is usually a mount available somewhere that will work as is or that can be adapted for special circumstances.
  • If its a flat panel you could get a different mount to move it around.

Maybe something like this but with the TV mounted lower on the bracket. When not in use it would be store horizontal. This would require some way of holding it level as the weight would be lower than the pivot point. You could make it so it moves more than 90 degrees so it's angled down for better viewing.
