I am DONE executing the moves of a
Ninja Warrior gone contortionist to change my camper bedding! It's just insane! I have decided to put a light weight double sleeping bag on top of the bed and toss a pretty quilt over it to hide it. It's just a fiasco changing the sheets, and it has done MORE to increase my vocabulary then
Webster's dictionary! :M ARUGH!!!
I know the sleeping bag will be toooo warm in the middle of the summer, but I'm going to sew up a knock off of those "As Seen On TV" Dreamies, and use those during the summer. I also love the feel of sheets for sleeping so I'm totally experimenting with the sleeping bags. I just know that my neck and back nag me for a few days EVERY TIME I change the sheets on the camper bed.
The hard part is that we keep the camper fairly warm at night so I'll probably regret the sleeping bags somewhere along the line. I'd prefer to sleep chilly at night, but my hubby and the dogs outvoted me.
There are the "Dreamies". I think a person could just sew the necessary sized sheets together on 2 sides and make your own sheet pocket. Just a little measuring, and 2 quickie seams...and presto. NO MORE TUCKING sheets in!! I'll still keep my fitted sheet on the lower mattress, but now I'll only have to change that &*&^%$#$$@% sheet once a year. Having said all that... I do have a camping friend who ordered the "Dreamie" and she's happy with it. So, you guess could do that too.
I hope it's okay to post this photo here.. if not someone wise me up and I'll delete it.
