More room in Fridg No More Folded Lettuce

I really hated those 2 crispers in the bottom of my Dometic Fridg,to small for anything, when one broke they wanted $43 for a new one.
I found a great replacement

Although it is a Norcold Product,it fits nicely in my Dometic RM 2652, is only $28 and no more folded lettuce :B

  • That's exactly what my entry level Hurricane came with from the factory
  • Seriously....for what it's worth, we purchased the same item for our fridge last year and it was well worth it!

For about $1000 more you could have gotten a residential fridge! Why would you go with a great and inexpensive solution?
I hope that is sarcasm. On this board you never know these days.

He should have put in several of these. :B :B :B

  • That's where I keep my beer. The lettuce always freezes when we put it in the crisper.

I thought it was "for $500 less". 7 cu.ft. LP fridge is $900, 9 cu.ft residential fits in the same cabinet and costs $400. Power appetite of res fridge is another thing.

Back to the topic - I've removed those tiny crisper bins. My fridge door opens only 90 degrees due to fridge location next to bathroom wall, so using any covered bins in fridge was a pain. Veggies in grocery bags are more efficient use of space.
