Our previous coach had a WFCO and we had no problems with batteries being undercharged.
Ignorance is bliss :W - fact is just about every WFCO owner, myself included, who has taken the time to actually measure what their converter is capable of report that it never delivers a 14.4 volt bulk charge to the battery terminals - never. :M I turned mine off and instead use a stand alone charger than does. :B
exactly!!! And I've have helped close to a dozen folks who dry camp and had the WFCO. NEVER did I ever see one go above 13.6V, 10-12A even with a battery down to less than 50% SOC. Once they realized the issue they installed a PD or Iota unit. Problem solved.
WFCO in a bulletin I have somewhere even admits they changed the charging algorithm years ago and the algorithm is highly unlikely to ever kick in bulk charging.
The WFCO is an ok unit for those who never dry camp. A terrible unit for those who dry camp.
