Also, be aware that some cameras don't last very long if they have constant power to them (at least that's what I'm reading). It is best to have switched power to them so they aren't powered up constantly. A simple toggle would work. And in the case of the Garmin, it would let the image automatically pop up, as opposed to having to manually hit the "camera" icon on screen.
