New Goodies and Mod's

What new goodie's has everyone been buying during the cold months, waiting for it to warm up a bit to install, and what new mod's are in store for the "return of the warmth" ?
New set of Michelin tires due to the recall.
I have shelf brackets/shelves to install in one of the bedroom hanging closets.
Today I received my Progressive Industries Surge Protectors. First thing to go in.
New air compressor.
Front mount receiver hitch and mount for the spare tire.
Planning on ditching the jacknife sofa and replacing it with a recliner love seat.
And that's just for the first week!!! LOL
What have any of you planned for spring projects?

  • Hi Dave,

I thought you were going with 3 panels? Did you change your mind?
  • Installed 810 watts of solar this year (last year was batts and inverter), Genturi, under counter reverse osmosis system, water softener, and maxxair vent covers. We were able to boondock for 10 days at a time during the winter in Arizona. The trailer is about where I want it now.
  • Mounted two cheap airhose reels to a two drawer tool box for 50ap cord and water hoses. All the related stuf goes in the drawers. Mounted an extra TV I had in my basement, and getting ready to mount a dog/g kid screen on the screen door. Come On Spring
  • Replacing my 30 amp Power cord that someone stole during the winter up here in Michigan.Scrappers will steal anything thats not nailed down or REALLY locked up.Any Ideas on a set-up that they wouldn't be able to steal so easily??? Maybe a locked door on the storage hole for the cord?Mine was plugged in for the winter makin it an Easy Target!Idea's???
  • Not a trailer mod, but new tires for the TV. If it can't go neither does the trailer,
For the trailer, a new Prodigy P3 brake control.
Ordered and waiting for, the first batch of LED bulbs to try.

Not all that exciting but safety is important.
  • Enclosure, auxiliary heating, new valves, and plumbing for the waste system.
    Spare tire mounted.
    Electric tongue jack.
    Curtains.
A few other doo-dads for the inside.
  • Hi,

New inverter charger with fancy remote

remote start upgrade for the genny that I love to hate

a fridge protection device to keep the Dometic from self destructing

planing stage for massive solar upgrade next year.
  • Too cold. Nothing! We did take the camper back to the dealer because the shower drain was leaking. They fixed it under warranty. But it's been to cold to test it out at home!
