- myredracerExplorer IINice upgrade!
I see that the retract/extend switches are on the outside of the arms. If you're interested, you can buy a remote that plugs into the motor with an industry standard 5-pin connector (need to know if you have a 3,4 or 5 wire remote).
We're picking up a new double recliner in a few days for our TT and bought a couple of remotes for it from Amazon. I'm not sure why they put the switches on the outside of the arms on recliners in an RV because they can be tight up against an end wall and hard to reach. - SkimmerBobExplorerThat looks great!! My DW has been wanting to do this for a couple years now. Her 12 lb. Miniature Schnauzer is the only one that seems comfy on that loveseat.

Looks great. Was getting it through the door a tight squeeze or do the backs come off like I've heard Lazyboys do?
It came shipped in two boxes. The backs were off. I easily fit all four pieces through my 24" door. - rwjejitsExplorerLooks great. Was getting it through the door a tight squeeze or do the backs come off like I've heard Lazyboys do?

I haven't bolted it down yet....but I probably will to keep it from hitting the front wall in heavy breaking.
I have never bolted down a chair or loveseat in any of the trailers we have had and it has never moved an inch during braking. I don't see any reason at all to bolt one down unless maybe it is on a hard surface - even then I probably would not do it.
Nice addition to your rig! :)

Thank you Barney. You obviously have a lot of experience. What I decided to do was use the 2 L brackets positioned against the inside if the frame and zip tie the couch to the brackets in 2 places. Your reply helped. - mill540ExplorerThis is not a powered unit.

Barney - DurbExplorerLooks nice. I've been thinking about replacing a rear couch with recliners. Is it electric recline, 120V? If so, did you install an inverter for 12V operation? If yes to the inverter how many watts? I've been pondering these questions for a while now as I love the power recline in the house but may go to manual recline in the RV.

- TNGW1500SEExplorerYou're going to love that. Did you bolt it down?
