Here's one of my better ideas if you're thinking of 12V lights:

Those light fixtures are a card frame from the dollar store and a Chinese LED panel, total cost was less than $4/fixture. They throw about the same light as the original incandescents but operate at 1/10th the current. The two pictured are in the center of my TT and the aluminum plate covers central distribution boxes. I use others singly.
I like your ideas about using resin and fiberglass. They are good durable materials and lightweight for a trailer.
How do you plan on using the rig?
