New Truck Camper Forum Comments

My last RV was a motorhome. It just happens that this truck-camper forum was the first one with old RV.Net members finding our way here after the old forum folded. We all learned how to use this Goodsam forum by posting here. We all helped each other here.

Welcome here Freddy.  Without any mods showing up, this may be like the "Old West". No sheriffs in town.

For now, we just keep mudding through.

I don't think too many people will use this.  This forum does not work very well.

Remember that the solution button is just as optional as the like button. If it doesn't fit the narrative of the post, you do not have to use it.

Still trying to figure out how all this works. I never posted much as I could figure out most things myself.

I guess some growing pains are expected.  It's not like the old site was perfect although it was familiar.

I haven't found a good reading view, so far.  The view seems to be optimized for showing pictures.  Not a bad thing except they take up a lot of screen space. 

Also, the editing window seems tiny and there is no way to ignore people who are spammy to me.

I've also noticed that this new forum requires us to scroll through each page until we see the unread reply's.  Has anyone found a way to go directly to the first unread reply?

Using the page, while pretty, does feel a tad klunky.  Not sure if I'll spend as much time vs iRV2 which is still an old style format forum

We made it to the new site! I’m not opposed to the change and kinda like it. 

Everything seems to work out for the best!

My rig is a 4x4 Class C which thinks it is a truck camper.  For many years, the moderators and participants of the Truck Camper Forum have welcomed me and my trip reports.  I hope that this welcome continues in the new setup.  And I hope that the comment someone made about posting photos now being easier is correct, because I really look forward to that and am going to try it....
