I checked these out on Amazon. The people that are complaining about the batteries and white acid, IT's the batteries that are leaking. Today it is just about impossible to buy a battery that doesn't leak. Ray O Vac batteries used to be notorious for leakage but it looks like the last couple of years the other manufacturers have caught up to the bad sealing issues of Ray O vac.
