I installed a switch on the light and wired it to the LED, this way at bedtime, I can leave the nightlight on, so if they wake up in the middle of the night it is not pitch black. The lights only draw about 0.8 amps so when boondocking it works great. I'll try to post a pic if I can.
Now that is brilliant! Red makes perfect sense for this type of situation.
