Old 4-bolt to new 2-bolt toilet upgrade question...

Old 4-bolt to new 2-bolt toilet upgrade question... Need to replace current with new toilet. Been told cheap 4 to 2 bolt adapters are junk and good ones are not cheap. I have replaced and repaired ...

Plastic toilet? My new one was, and I just drilled two holes through the base to match the old floor flange. Did use a couple SS flat washers for that fresh finished look.
