I've wired power to my breaker box with red and black hot wires to each side, white neutral to its bar and green ground to its bar. However, the meter doesn't spin.
The meter is not wired correctly. You cannot convert 50a 120/240 service to 120v service and back to 240/120.
You need to stick with 120v service that your RV has in place. The meter is wired with a jumper instead of two hot lines when used at 120v.
