Outdoor kitchen install?

Am I crazy to think that this could be done? I'm very handy, and water source, propane connection, and an electric outlet are all within feet of where I want it. My only concern is that it would be in a slide. Has anybody played with these type kitchens enough to know if they are installed as a module that I could buy out of a wreck?

  • The slide part is what would scare me. You have to route the gas, water & elec. so there is no binding/pinching as the slide moves.
  • Yes, your crazy but I am too. Not sure what you mean but I built a teardrop style (little trailer) for my son and his family to use. I made a cabinet for a 2 burner stove and a sink that slides out the back of the trailer. I used the bunk slides out of a wrecked popup trailer. I used braided pipe for the water and gas so it would not kink when the unit slides back in for traveling. Do a search on teardrop trailers to get some ideas for your design. I will try later to put pictures here. Hope this helps ya.
